Real Bedford welcome three loan signings
Real Bedford are delighted to announce the arrivals of Billy Burrell, Will O’Sullivan and Kyran Wiltshire on short-term loan deals.
Defender Burrell and goalkeeper O’Sullivan join from Birmingham City, while midfielder Wiltshire arrives from Hemel Hempstead Town. The trio add depth across the squad as Rob Sinclair’s side prepare for the weeks ahead.
Billy Burrell

Burrell joins the Pirates after progressing through Birmingham City’s academy, having first joined Blues at the age of six.
The defender has captained Birmingham’s Under-21s across the past two seasons, alongside gaining first-team experience in pre-season and being named on the bench last season. He also spent time on loan at National League North side AFC Telford United earlier this campaign.
Speaking about his move, Billy said:
“I started my academy journey at six at Blues and have been in their academy for 13 years now. I’ve got lots of experience as Under-21s captain last year and this season, as well as lots of first-team experience in pre-season and on the bench a few times last season.
I’m very excited to join the club. It looks like a fantastic setup all across the board and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Will O’Sullivan

Goalkeeper O’Sullivan arrives with experience of both academy and senior football, having joined Birmingham City at Under-11 level.
Alongside representing Blues’ Under-21s in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup, Will has gained senior experience through spells with Darlaston Town and Solihull Moors. He joined Darlaston at just 17 before making his National League debut for Moors towards the end of last season.
Will said:
“I signed for Blues at Under-11s and am approaching 10 years at the club now. I’ve had plenty of experience with the Under-21s and have been out on loan twice, to Darlaston Town when I was 17, and I made my National League debut with Solihull Moors at the end of last season.
Really excited to be here and do everything I can to help the team.”
Kyran Wiltshire

Wiltshire brings a wealth of non-league experience to the Pirates’ midfield, joining on loan from Hemel Hempstead Town.
Having come through the academy at MK Dons, Kyran joined Maidenhead United in 2016 where he helped win promotion to the National League. Kyran then went on to play for Bishop’s Stortford and Oxford City, where he played with manager Rob Sinclair. He made more than 100 appearances for St Albans City after joining in 2020, and also spent time on loan at Hendon before moving to Hemel in 2024.
Kyran on joining:
“I’m excited to join Real Bedford and can’t wait to get started. I love the club’s ambition, and I’ll do everything I can to help us keep moving forward. Up the Pirates!”
Welcoming the three arrivals, manager Rob Sinclair said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Will, Billy and Kyran to the club. All three are good characters who will fit in well with the group. Will and Billy have a great opportunity to gain experience in senior football, while Kyran brings valuable experience to our midfield.
All three strengthen the squad, and we’re looking forward to working with them. A big thank you to Birmingham City and Hemel Hempstead for their help in getting the loans done.”
Welcome to the Pirates, Billy, Will and Kyran.
