Elites.

Real Bedford Elites.

Real Bedford Elites provides ambitious young players with the opportunity to test themselves in a high-performance football environment, with a structured pathway from community and grassroots football towards the highest levels of the youth game.

Founded in 2025, the programme is led by UEFA B Licensed coach Pete Sanders and is designed to develop confident, capable young people as well as talented footballers.

Elite Competition.

Our squads currently compete in two leading youth football programmes:

  • Junior Premier League - Saturdays
  • Eastern Junior Alliance - Sundays

We currently operate teams from Under-13s to Under-16s, with plans to introduce additional age groups as the programme continues to grow.

Players take part in competitive weekly fixtures, development matches, national tournaments, elite showcases and selected tours.

Training and Development.

Players train twice each week in sessions led by experienced, UEFA-licensed coaches.

The programme focuses on technical ability, tactical understanding, physical performance and decision-making, helping players meet the demands of elite youth football and continue progressing through the game.

Developing the Whole Player.

Our approach extends beyond training and match performance. Players are supported through a rounded development programme that may include:

  • Strength and conditioning
  • Nutrition and recovery guidance
  • Injury prevention and physiotherapy support
  • Leadership and character development
  • Mental wellbeing and resilience

Our aim is to help every player develop the habits, confidence and discipline needed to succeed both on and off the pitch.

A Pathway to Elite Football.

Real Bedford Elites provides a natural progression from our community partnership with Bedford Park Rangers, offering motivated players a more demanding, performance-focused environment.

The programme also strengthens the pathway through Real Bedford, giving players something to work towards as they progress through the age groups.
