Real Bedford return to Southern League Premier Central action on Saturday 12th September as Redditch United visit the Ledger Stadium.
The Pirates will be looking to extend their perfect league start, with six wins from six placing them top of the table on goal difference. Their most recent league outing brought a 3–2 home victory over Leighton Town, taking their tally to 18 points.

OPPOSITION FOCUS
Redditch United, known as the Reds, play their home matches at the Valley Stadium in Worcestershire. They arrive in Bedford sitting 11th, having collected six points from their opening six league games through one win, three draws and two defeats.
Their first league victory came on Bank Holiday Monday, when they beat Halesowen Town 3-1. They have since progressed in the FA Cup, following a 1-1 draw at Malvern Town with a 4-0 home win in Monday’s replay. That recent upturn gives the visitors encouragement as they look for their first away league victory of the campaign.
The clubs shared a division last season, with each side claiming an away win across their two league meetings.
Redditch took the points on their previous visit to the Ledger Stadium on 6th September 2025, securing a 2-0 victory. The return fixture at the Valley Stadium on 11th April 2026 ended in a 4-1 win for Real Bedford, although the contest was much closer than the final score suggested.
With one victory apiece, both sides will be aiming to take the upper hand when they meet again this weekend.
GETTING TO THE LEDGER STADIUM
Fans travelling via the M1 should leave the motorway at Junction 13 before joining the A421 Bedford Bypass. Continue on the A421 before taking the A603 Sandy exit. The Ledger Stadium is approximately 200 yards on the left-hand side of Meadow Lane. Follow the Real Bedford signage upon turning onto Meadow Lane. Sat Nav: MK44 3LW
PARKING
Limited parking is available immediately before the Ledger Stadium on the left-hand side. An overflow car park is also available immediately on the right as you enter Meadow Lane. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early or travel together where possible.
