Real Bedford Women v Exeter City
Real Bedford Women return to the Ledger Stadium on Sunday 18th October as they welcome Exeter City for their latest FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division fixture.
The Pirates will be looking to respond to last weekend’s 5-2 defeat at Lewes and build on the performance that secured a 3-1 victory at Plymouth Argyle earlier this month. With another three points on offer, Sunday provides an opportunity to get back to winning ways in front of our home supporters.

OPPOSITION FOCUS
Exeter City Women have established themselves in the Southern Premier Division since winning promotion as Division One South West champions in 2024. That title took the Grecians into the third tier for the first time in their history, and they impressed in their debut campaign, finishing fourth in 2024/25.
Last season brought a seventh-place finish, immediately below Real Bedford. Both clubs collected 30 points from 22 matches, with the Pirates finishing ahead on goal difference after each side recorded nine wins, three draws and ten defeats.
Managed by Abbie Britton, Exeter travel to Bedford following a 4-1 home defeat to AFC Wimbledon last Sunday.
That result followed a victory at Fulham, underlining the threat Exeter can pose on their travels. The Pirates will need a strong performance to overcome visitors determined to bounce back.
The clubs first met on 12th October 2025, when Real Bedford secured a 2-0 victory at the Ledger Stadium.
Exeter won the return fixture 2-1 at Coach Road on 22nd March 2026, leaving the head-to-head record level at one victory apiece.
