The Opposition

Cheltenham Town finished eighth in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division last season, winning seven, drawing two and losing 13. Their points tally of 23 left them six ahead of the relegation zone, which was occupied by Billericay Town and MK Dons.

The Robins lost their first league game on Sunday 17th August against Exeter City. The Grecians secured a 2-0 away victory against Cheltenham, with Sophie Gillies and Bow Jackson scoring the goals.

Tom Davies has been the Cheltenham manager since May 2020, with coaching experience also at Stoke City Ladies FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers Women.
