Real Bedford Women Sign Eden Skyers

Real Bedford Women can confirm the signing of Eden Skyers. The 22-year-old defender has experience at various English academies, alongside stints at two American Universities.

Skyers started her career at Crystal Palace’s academy in 2010, spending four years at the Eagles.

She then made the switch to Millwall’s academy in 2015, before joining Brighton & Hove Albion’s Under-21s between 2019 and 2021.

In her freshman year at Jacksonville University in 2021, Skyers played 17 matches – earning the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) All-Conference Second team and ASUN All-Freshman team honours.

After an impressive freshman year, the 22-year-old joined Virginia Tech University, where she spent three years before graduating in 2025.

Skyers has now joined Charlie Bill’s side and will be available for selection for today’s FAWNL first round clash against Derby County.

On joining, Skyers said:

“Really excited to join Real Bedford FC, can’t wait to contribute and grow with the team!”

Bill said:

“Eden brings a wealth of high-level experience, and we’ve really enjoyed working with her over the past few weeks while waiting for her international clearance. She’s a fantastic character both on and off the pitch and will bring a great deal to the team.”

Welcome to the Pirates, Eden.
