Real Bedford v Rushall Olympic
Real Bedford welcome Rushall Olympic to the Ledger Stadium on Saturday 7th November for our Remembrance weekend fixture in the Southern League Premier Central.
The Pirates return home following Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Anstey Nomads. Goals from Kyran Wiltshire and Jordan Ponticelli overturned an early deficit to end a run of three consecutive league defeats, giving Rob Sinclair’s side a platform to build on this weekend.
Saturday also marks the first-ever meeting between Real Bedford and Rushall Olympic, with the visitors providing another strong test for the Pirates.

REMEMBRANCE WEEKEND
As we come together for Saturday’s fixture, we also remember the service and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in conflict, and those who continue to serve.
Ahead of kick-off, we will pay our respects with the playing of The Last Post, followed by a minute’s silence.
We welcome supporters of both clubs to join us in paying our respects on Remembrance weekend.
OPPOSITION FOCUS
Known as the Pics, Rushall Olympic are managed by Ian Long, supported by assistant Richard Colwell. The Dales Lane club have been among the division’s leading sides this season, collecting 27 points from their opening 16 league matches.
Their record of nine victories and seven defeats is particularly notable for the absence of a draw. With 32 goals scored and 25 conceded, Rushall’s matches have regularly produced goals, and the Pirates will need to be alert to their attacking threat.
Their two most recent outings have ended in defeat. Rushall surrendered a two-goal half-time lead in a 3-2 loss at Kettering Town before Racing Club Warwick secured a 1-0 victory at Dales Lane last Saturday.
Those results give the visitors added incentive to respond in Bedford, while the Pirates will be looking to turn Tuesday’s away victory into another positive run.
