Senior cup Performance 2024/25

Rob Sinclair’s side exited the Bedfordshire Senior Challenge Cup in the semi-finals last season. The first round saw the Pirates beat Potton United 4-1 at the Ledger Stadium. A much-changed starting lineup came from behind, with Drew Richardson, Eniola Agemoh-Davies, Tom Hitchcock and Isaac Galliford scoring the goals for the hosts.

The second round saw the Pirates travel to fellow step four side, Leighton Town. Jack Morrell, Callum Nicolson and Galliford scored at the Freed Veneers Community Stadium to book their place in the final four.

This set up a semi-final tie against this year’s first-round opponents, AFC Dunstable. A lacklustre display resulted in a 2-0 defeat, meaning Real Bedford missed the chance to compete in the final at Kenilworth Road. The ODs went on to win the trophy, beating Barton Rovers 3-2 in the final.
