Real Bedford 3-0 Rushden & Higham - Highlights

We got off to a perfect start to our title campaign with a convincing 3 - 0 victory over Rushden & Higham United.

It was a hot day, and McMullen Park welcomed a record crowd of 276 supporters supported by a large international following watching the game via the live stream.

New manager Rob Sinclair spent the summer rebuilding the squad. It was a league debut to remember for Kevin Owusu and Dan Walker. Kevin opened the scoring after just two minutes with an audacious long-range effort to beat the Rushden keeper. Dan Walker put Real Bedford in dreamland in four minutes, doubling the lead and completed his brace in the 75th minute with a fine solo effort.
