Real Bedford Women return to the Ledger Stadium this Sunday for their first home game of the 2026/27 season, as we welcome newly promoted Fulham to Bedford.
The Pirates got the new campaign off to the perfect start last weekend, securing an impressive 3-1 victory away at Cheltenham Town. It was a strong opening-day performance from Charlie Bill’s side and a positive way to begin another season in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.

OPPOSITION FOCUS
Fulham arrive at the Ledger Stadium following promotion to the Southern Premier Division after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign.
The Cottagers secured the Division One South East title last season to earn their second consecutive promotion, continuing the club’s rapid rise through the women’s football pyramid. They also lifted the Capital Cup to complete a league and cup double.
They have strengthened ahead of their first season at Tier 3, including the addition of former Bristol City defender Harley Bennett.
Fulham also made a winning start to life in the Southern Premier Division last Sunday. In a closely fought opening fixture against Portsmouth, a stoppage-time goal gave the Cottagers a 1-0 victory and all three points at Motspur Park.
GETTING TO THE LEDGER STADIUM
Fans travelling via the M1 should leave the motorway at Junction 13 before joining the A421 Bedford Bypass. Continue on the A421 before taking the A603 Sandy exit. The Ledger Stadium is approximately 200 yards on the left-hand side of Meadow Lane. Follow the Real Bedford signage upon turning onto Meadow Lane. Sat Nav: MK44 3LW
PARKING
Limited parking is available immediately before the Ledger Stadium on the left-hand side. An overflow car park is also available immediately on the right as you enter Meadow Lane. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early or travel together where possible.

Our food and drink outlets will be open all day, serving a range of hot food, snacks and refreshments. Fans can also enjoy beers from our partners at Brew Point, including Supernova Helles Lager, Genesis Stout, Foghorn Hazy Session IPA, Lodestar Pacific Pale Ale, and much more.
The popular Pirate Burger will be available, alongside a selection of hot and cold food, from our food kiosk, which will be firing up throughout the afternoon, serving all your favourites including burgers, hot dogs and more.
