Opposition focus

Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers compete in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, the fifth tier of the women’s football pyramid.

Rovers currently sit 11th in the table, taking five points from their opening six league matches through one win and two draws. Their victory came in a 4-1 home win over St Albans City, followed by draws against Wroxham and Histon.

The Norwich-based side have climbed through the regional game in recent seasons. They won the Eastern Region Division One North title in 2023/24, securing promotion in their first season at that level. A 2-2 draw at Mulbarton Wanderers sealed the championship and their move into the Premier Division.

Last season brought a run to the Norfolk Women’s County Cup final, where Rovers narrowly lost 2-1 to Wroxham in front of 743 spectators. That final appearance added another notable cup run to their recent history.
