OPPOSITION FOCUS

Stourbridge make the journey to Bedford during their 150th anniversary season. Known as the Glassboys, the club play at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.

The visitors head into Tuesday’s fixture sitting 12th in the Southern League Premier Central. Their recent league results have included successive victories over Leighton Town and Worcester City, winning 2-1 at home before recording a 3-1 success on the road. A 2-0 defeat at Bury Town followed in their most recent league outing.

Stourbridge returned to winning ways on Saturday, beating Loughborough Students 2-0 away from home in the FA Trophy first round. That result means the Glassboys have won three of their last four matches across all competitions and will arrive looking to carry that momentum into Tuesday evening.

Real Bedford have won two of the clubs’ three previous meetings, including a 4-1 victory at Stourbridge earlier this season.

Last season’s meetings produced a home victory apiece. Real Bedford won 3-1 at the Ledger Stadium on 21st October 2025, with Archie Jones, Josh Setchell and Joey Evans on target. Stourbridge then won the return fixture 2-1 on 21st February 2026.

Tuesday offers the Pirates the chance to complete a league double over the Glassboys and repeat last season’s home success.
