Match Preview: Bury Town v Real Bedford

Next up for the Pirates is an away game against Bury Town in the Southern League Premier Central.

Rob Sinclair’s side has secured 12 points from their last four league games, so they’ll be looking to continue this momentum going into Tuesday’s fixture.

Children (10-16 yrs): £4

Children under 10 years of age are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

HOW TO GET TO THE GETAWAY CARS STADIUM

If you travel from the A14: Leave the A14 at Junction 43, signposted to central Bury St Edmunds. Once clear of the exit roundabout, follow the signs to the Town Centre. Take the first exit at the next roundabout (after 300 yards) into Northgate Street. At the second set of traffic lights (T –Junction), turn left into Mustow Street and first left into Cotton Lane, past the Hawkes garage and the Drive Car Showroom. Carry on down to the bottom of Cotton Lane and turn right in the council car park. The ground is at the far end of the car park, situated on the left-hand side.

If you travel from the A12: Pick up the A14 at the Copdock roundabout and follow signs for Bury St Edmunds. Ignore the first turning off the dual carriageway with Sainsbury’s on your right. Leave the A14 Junction 43, signposted to central Bury St Edmunds. Once clear of the exit roundabout, follow the signs to the Town Centre. Take the first exit at the next roundabout (after 300 yards) into Northgate Street. THE OPPOSITION

Bury Town are currently sitting in the bottom half of the table in 14th with six wins, two draws, and eight losses during the current campaign. Bury haven’t struggled to find the back of the net in recent outings, scoring eight goals in their last four.

Cole Skuse’s side will be aiming to secure all three points to climb the table and ease relegation worries. A win would give them a much-needed boost. George Quantrell is the club’s top goal scorer with six goals so far. He’ll continue to pose a significant threat.
