Jack Davies Joins Real Bedford
Real Bedford are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Davies. The 22-year-old defender joins the Pirates after spending last season at Hemel Hempstead Town and Bedford Town.
Davies progressed through MK Dons’ academy before signing a professional contract with the club in August 2020. He made five first-team appearances for the Dons, including a 13-minute cameo against Peterborough United in League One in January 2021.
In August 2021, Davies joined National League South side Oxford City on loan, making 18 appearances across the season.
The 2022/23 campaign saw him join Concord Rangers before returning to Oxford City in January 2023. Davies was a part of the Hoops’ squad that won promotion to the National League, beating St Albans City in the play-off final.
Following the expiration of his MK Dons contract in June 2023, Davies joined National League North side Banbury United, making 34 appearances.
The 22-year-old switched to Hemel Hempstead Town in May 2024, making 16 appearances in the National League South.
In December 2024, he joined Bedford Town on a dual registration basis for the remainder of the season. Davies helped the Eagles win the Southern League Premier Central title on the final day, securing his second non-league promotion.

On joining, Davies said:
“Absolutely buzzing to be here! Can’t wait to meet the lads, get settled in, and hit the ground running. Looking forward to what’s ahead and ready to give it everything.”
Rob Sinclair said:
“Delighted to welcome Jack to the club. He’s a player we’ve tracked closely - young, hungry, and with the right attitude to match his ability. He fits the profile of what we’re building here and I’m excited to start working with him.”
Davies will join Rob Sinclair’s squad for pre-season, where we will play six games across 21 days in July and August. View the full pre-season fixture list here
