Club Captain Lee Watkins departs Real Bedford
Following 140 appearances for the club, Lee Watkins departs Real Bedford FC.
Watkins joined the club in 2023 and quickly established himself in Sinclair’s midfield. Ahead of the 2024/25 season, he was named club captain and went on to lead the Pirates to the Southern League Division One Central title.
A tireless captain, Lee helped drive the team to 57 league victories over 2 seasons as Skipper, while also scoring four goals during his time at the club. He played a crucial role in controlling the tempo of matches and pushing the team forward from midfield.
Lee’s leadership and character made a huge impact around the club. He was a captain who represented the club with professionalism, commitment, and pride at all times.
