HOW TO GET TO The Hive
Supporters travelling by car can access the ground via the M1, A1 or A41, with parking available on site. For those using public transport, Canons Park Underground Station (Jubilee Line) is just a short walk from the stadium, while Queensbury Station is also within walking distance.
OPPOSITION Focus
Sunday’s hosts enjoyed another competitive campaign in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East, finishing fourth in the table and comfortably securing a top-half finish. Under Dan McKimm, the Bees built a reputation as one of the division’s toughest sides to break down, ending the season with strong performances and carrying plenty of momentum into the summer.
In attack, Shamoy Campbell proved to be one of London’s key players throughout the campaign. The forward was recognised with both the club’s Player of the Season and Goal of the Season awards after an impressive year leading the line, making her one of the Pirates’ main threats to watch this weekend.
The two sides have become familiar opponents in recent seasons. We first met in the league last season at The Hive in August, where Real Bedford came away with an impressive 3-2 victory despite the hosts pushing them all the way. When the teams met again at The Ledger Stadium in December, the points were shared in an entertaining 2-2 draw, with London Bees twice coming from behind before scoring a late equaliser.
