Points shared in goalless draw between Real Bedford and Worcester City

The Pirates struggled to finish their chances as they drew 0-0 with Worcester City at The Ledger Stadium. With 3 consecutive home games to come, they will be looking to bounce back against Stamford.

Real Bedford started the game positively; Allen had a shot which went just wide, and Setchell dribbled past defenders before having a shot which was saved.

Rob Sinclair’s side continued to create good chances; Ben Stevens put a good cross into the area, but Morrell’s shot went over. 

In the 30th minute, Jones cut the ball back to Setchell, whose shot was blocked. Real Bedford continued to push for the opener, working the ball into promising areas, yet the decisive final touch remained missing.

Just before half-time, the visitors had an excellent chance which went just wide. It ended goalless at the break. 

Second Half

Just after half-time, Conor Tee put a ball into the box, but no one could meet it. The Pirates had a spell of attacks which were let down at the last moment.

In the 64th minute, Rob Sinclair made his first changes; Lewis Hilliard and Harry Gray came on to replace Jack Morrell and Lee Watkins. 

Real Bedford continued to create chances; Hilliard made a good run, but Worcester defended well. In the 85th minute, Ben Stevens had an effort which was kept out by the keeper.

After four minutes of stoppage time, it ended 0-0. Overall, Real Bedford will be pleased with a clean sheet.
