Owen Brooks Joins Hitchin Town on Short-Term Deal

Real Bedford can confirm that Owen Brooks has joined Hitchin Town on a short-term deal.

The 22-year-old joined the Pirates from MK Irish in June 2026, following an impressive 2025/26 campaign in which he registered 17 goals and 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.

Since arriving at Real Bedford, Brooks has made three appearances, including a start against Biggleswade FC in the Bedfordshire County Cup.

The short-term move to Hitchin Town will provide Owen with the opportunity to gain important minutes before returning to the Pirates.
