HOW TO GET TO SIXWAYS STADIUM
It is around a 100-mile journey from the Ledger Stadium to the Sixways Stadium. Supporters from Bedford should take the M1 south before exiting onto the M6 westbound.
From here, go on to the M5 southbound and exit at Junction 6. Once exiting the slip road, stay in the right-hand lane and follow the signs to A4538 to Droitwich, which is the fifth exit. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Warriors Way, where you’ll find Sixways Stadium.
After five years at Claines Lane, Worcester City moved into Sixways Stadium at the start of the 2025/26 season. The ground holds a capacity of just over 12,000 and is also the home of the rugby team Worcester Warriors.
THE OPPOSITION
Worcester City secured their return to the Southern League for the first time in just over two decades last season, thanks to their 2-1 victory against Corby Town in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division play-off final. They have secured back-to-back promotions in the last two seasons under the management of Chris Cornes.
So far, the Blues have picked up seven points from their first seven league games in the Southern League Premier Central. After going winless in their first four matches, Cornes’ side are unbeaten in the last three league games, including a 3-0 away win against Halesowen Town.
