HOW TO GET TO THE WAR MEMORIAL ATHLETIC GROUND

From South / South East

Take the M5 north or M40/M42 to Junction 4 of the M5 and take the A491 signposted for Stourbridge for around 6 miles. In Hagley, at the large roundabout where the A491 meets the A456, take the third exit (for Stourbridge and Birmingham) and just before you reach the next set of traffic lights, take the filter lane on the left to continue on the A491 towards Stourbridge.

Carry on along the A491 for around two miles through Pedmore and Oldswinford and join Stourbridge Ring Road (one-way). Follow the ring-road round past the Crystal Leisure Centre and Tesco Extra on your right and get in the left-hand lane signposted for Wolverhampton A491. As the ring-road dips, take the A491 exit and in about 400 yards, just past Johnson's Cleaners, the War Memorial Athletic Ground will come into view on the left-hand side of the road by a new housing development.

THE OPPOSITION

Founded in 1876 as Stourbridge Standard, the club adopted the name Stourbridge by the late 1880s. They competed in the Birmingham & District League, enjoying solid success and winning the Worcestershire Senior Cup three times despite never taking the league title.

Stourbridge are currently 20th in the Southern League Premier Central, three points away from safety. The Glassboys will be looking to secure important points in their aim for safety.
