THE OPPOSITION

In August 2020, the club renamed the team Watford FC Women, replacing Watford FC Ladies to reflect a more modern and inclusive approach to the women’s game. Watford returned to the second tier in the 2020–21 season after The FA approved their promotion following a three-year absence.

Watford are currently top of the FA Women’s National League South, Renée Hector’s side come into this fixture on the back of a impressive 14-0 away win against Billericay Town.

GETTING TO THE Eyrie

Fans coming from the M1 should get off the motorway at Junction 13 onto the A421 before continuing on the A421 Bedford bypass. From here, take the third slip road for the A603 Sandy. The ground is located 200 yards to the left.

As you turn left on Meadow Lane, you will see the Bedford Town logo signposted. The postcode you'll need for your Satnav is MK44 3LW.

PARKING

There is parking just before the Eyrie on the right. Availability is limited, though, so we would advise travelling in groups.

When you turn left onto Meadow Lane, there is also an overflow car park immediately on the right.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

There are two bays of disabled parking outside the Ledger Stadium. Inside the ground, there is also a designated area for disabled supporters at the front of the main stand.
