There are only two pre-season matches left until our 2025/26 Southern League Premier Central campaign begins. The penultimate pre-season clash sees us travel to Hertford Town, who we faced twice at step four last season.

The match against Hertford Town will be played at Hertingfordbury Park and will kick-off at 7:45pm.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of Tuesday’s game.

HOW TO GET TO HERTINGFORDBURY PARK

Supporters should exit the A414 (Gascoyne Way) onto Hale Road, which is located next to the Hertford Police Station. After passing Richard Hale School, turn left onto Pegs Lane before going down to Bullocks Lane. From here, there is a mini-roundabout where you should turn right on Horns Mill Road. Hertingfordbury Park is located on the left, with limited on-site parking available.

If there is no on-site parking left, there are plenty of spots available on East Street, which is a 10 to 15-minute walk to the ground.

THE OPPOSITION

Hertford Town finished 13th in the Southern League Division One Central last season, winning 12 matches, drawing 12 and losing 16. We played the Blues twice in the league last year, winning on both occasions.

The first head-to-head saw Sinclair’s side win 2-0 on the opening day of the campaign, thanks to a Ben Stevens brace. Two months later, the Pirates won 3-0 at Hertingfordbury Park, thanks to goals from Jack Morrell, Joey Evans and Harrison Knight.
