HOW TO GET TO THE GROVE

Halesowen have an in-depth guide on their website for visiting fans here. They advise supporters travelling by car to take the A458 towards Kidderminster from Junction 3 of the M5. After a mile, fans should turn right onto the A459 towards Dudley and go past the cricket ground.

At the next roundabout, go left onto the A456 towards Stourbridge. From here, take the third exit onto Old Hawne Lane at the following roundabout before locating the ground 400 yards ahead on the left. The postcode for your SatNav is B63 3TB.

The club also note on their website that on-site parking is reserved for players and officials. Supporters are therefore encouraged to use on-street parking nearby.

THE OPPOSITION

Halesowen finished fourth in the Southern League Premier Central last season, ending on 74 points after 42 games. The Yeltz lost 3-2 in the play-off semi-finals to AFC Telford United, who went on to beat Kettering Town in the final.

Halesowen scored 65 goals in the league, with 40 of them coming from Kieren Donnelly and our new signing, Conor Tee. Donnelly, who was the third top goalscorer in the league with 24, left in the summer to join Boston United on a two-year full-time contract.

Russell Penn, who has been the manager since February 2024, has already made some impressive additions this summer, including Kyle Finn from Tamworth and Alex Gudger from Brackley Town.

The Yeltz are an extremely well-supported club, averaging 1,160 fans for home league games last season. This was only bettered by AFC Telford United and Kettering Town in the Southern League Premier Central.

Halesowen are unbeaten in their first two matches of the 2025/26 season, drawing 1-1 away at Leiston and beating Barwell 3-1 on Tuesday.
