THE OPPOSITION
The Clarets are currently top of the FA Women’s National League North with 23 points. They managed an impressive 2-1 away win against Stoke in their recent outing; Millie Ravening scored both goals. Ravening scored 61 times in her previous three seasons as a Claret, including 30 in 31 matches that earned her the Club’s 2022/23 Player of the Season award. She re-signed for the club this season and remains a huge threat on Sunday against the Pirates.
Lou Roberts’ side have not struggled to find the back of the net in recent fixtures, scoring 17 goals in their last three matches in all competitions. Her side will be aiming to win the FA Women’s National League North and carry the team’s brilliant league form into the cup on Sunday.
