Match Focus: Shefford Head to the Home of The Pirates

Real Bedford face Shefford Town & Campton this afternoon in another important league clash.

Match Preview
Having met over a fortnight ago in the league cup, with the match going to penalties, the two sides face each other for a third time this campaign. In the reverse fixture, The Pirates came out on top, with hat-tricks from both Ben Stevens and Josh Setchell at the Shefford Sports Club.

Shefford have had fixtures coming thick and fast over the last few weeks, with the Lambs having only played 28 matches this campaign. Having beaten Baldock on Tuesday, Shefford are fighting to stay in the league, currently sitting in the relegation zone.

Parking/Transport
We are entering into an agreement with Bedford Town, Biggleswade FC, and the adjacent meat processing business (Dunbia) to manage car parking. The aims are to ensure visitor safety and maximise available parking. There are costs associated with this, we are therefore going to charge visitors £1 per car for the 2023/24 season. This is the minimum level required to meet our immediate needs.

Both bus routes 72 and 73 to Biggleswade also run services to the ground at regular intervals from Bedford Bus Station. For more travel information, look on the Real Bedford website.

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly club, but we advise owners always to keep their pets on the lead when inside the ground.
