Harry Gray Joins The Pirates On Loan

Sinclair strengthens his squad with the signing of Harry Gray, who is on loan from Swindon Town for the rest of the season.

Harry Gray came through the Swindon Town youth system, progressing through their academy setup before breaking into the first team. He was still part of the U16 squad when he started to get opportunities in the senior team during the 2023–24 season.

The 18-year-old made his Senior debut against Reading in the 2023 EFL Trophy; he came on as a substitute, marking his first appearance for the senior team at a very young age. During the current campaign, Gray has been out on loan twice. His first loan spell was with Melksham Town, which allowed him to gain experience in physical senior football.

Harry also went out on loan with Weymouth. During his loan spell with the Terras, he featured in seven matches and managed an assist.

Gray’s creativity and attacking awareness will have a positive impact on Real Bedford, adding energy and attacking support from out wide, while providing another creative option to link play and contribute in the final third as he continues to develop through the senior level.

Sinclair said:

“Harry is an exciting young attacking player with a lot of ability and we’re delighted to bring him in. He has a fantastic attitude and we’re looking forward to working with him. We’d also like to thank Swindon for trusting us with Harry’s development.”

Welcome to the Pirates, Harry.
