Archie Jones Joins Real Bedford

Real Bedford are delighted to announce the signing of Archie Jones for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The young midfielder joins The Pirates from Bishop's Stortford FC, having previously played at Peterborough United and Spalding United.

With the ability to play anywhere in the midfield, Jones adds extra quality to Rob Sinclair's midfield. At only 21 years old, Jones has already shown his pedigree during his time in the higher levels of non-league football.

On signing for Bedford, Jones said:

"I'm really excited to be joining Real Bedford, and I'm looking forward to being a part of what the club is building here. The way Rob wants to play suits my strengths on the field, and I can't wait to get going and show everyone what I can do."

Real Bedford manager Rob Sinclair spoke highly about Bedford's latest acquisition:

"I'm delighted to have signed Archie. He's a player we have had our eye on all summer, so I'm delighted to welcome him to McMullen Park. He's a technically gifted player with a good character and attitude that'll only add to the squad."

Real Bedford returns to McMullen Park this weekend to face Rothwell Corinthians in the Isuzu FA Vase, giving Jones his first opportunity to turn out for The Pirates.

We wish Archie all the best during his time here at McMullen Park.
